On September 23-25, 2023, the 2023 National Particle Board Industry Development Seminar and Customized Home Furnishing Industry Chain Trend Summit, themed "Upholding Integrity and Innovation, Steady Progress and Long-term Development", was successfully held in Wuhan, Hubei.This conference was jointly organized by the China National Forest Products Industry Association, the Wood Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, the Guangdong Customized Home Furnishing Association, and the Guangdong Wardrobe Industry Association; co-organized by the Wood Composite Materials Research Office of the Wood Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, the Particle Board Professional Committee of the China National Forest Products Industry Association, the Guangdong Customized Home Furnishing Association, the Guangdong Wardrobe Industry Association, Ningfeng Group Co., Ltd., Yalian Machinery Co., Ltd., etc.; and supported by the Particle Board Industry National Innovation Alliance, the National Wood and Bamboo Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, the National Engineering Research Center for Low-Carbon High-Efficiency Utilization of Forest Biomass, etc.
The meeting mainly includedopening ceremony, release of "China Particle Board Industry Research Report (2023)", invited reports, expert interviews, thematic reports, guest interviews, visits and inspectionsseven parts.
The opening ceremony of the conference was kicked off under the host of Qian Xiaoyu, Executive Vice President of the China National Forest Products Industry Association. Leaders from the Guangdong Customized Home Furnishing Association and Wardrobe Association, the China National Forest Products Industry Association, the Science and Technology Department of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, and the China Rural Technology Development Center delivered speeches respectively.
Former Director Zhou Hongsheng of the Fire Prevention Department of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration hosted the release of the "China Particle Board Industry Research Report (2023)". Guo Wenjing, Secretary General of the Particle Board Professional Committee of the China National Forest Products Industry Association, provided a detailed interpretation of the report. Experts and leaders presented participation certificates to the participating units on the platform.
In the morning invited report session,Chu Fuxiang, President of the Chinese Academy of Forestry; Lu Bin, Deputy Director of the Wood Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry; Zhang Ting, Chief Engineer of Suofeiya Home Furnishing Co., Ltd.; and Li Xinguo, President of Ningfeng Group Co., Ltd. delivered reports respectively.

China; Fu Qiuxia, Chairman of Guangdong Hanqiu Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.; Cheng Hanwen, General Manager of Product Technology Center of Guangzhou Yongtenai Wood Glue Trading Co., Ltd.; Guo Dongsheng, General Manager of Italy Imapal Group China Region; Wang Daqing, Director of Changzhou Kolin Environmental Technology Co., Ltd.; and Liu Bo, Head of IEP Dust Explosion Protection Products Department of Holberg (China) Co., Ltd.respectively shared technological innovation, application practice, development trends, etc., in their respective fields combined with the characteristics of the particle board industry.
The meeting organized two entrepreneur forums,the first forum invited Liu Nian, Chairman of Fenglin Group; Liu Shouhua, Chief Representative of Diefenbach Beijing Representative Office Germany; Ye Shijun, General Manager of Furin Senkung; Yuan Gongzhi, General Manager of Hubei Baoyuan Wood Industry; Shen Wenyong, Chief Engineer of Sufuma Machinery; and Li Chunyu, Deputy General Manager of Tang County Huiyin Wood Industry to share wonderful viewpoints around particle board equipment and product innovation, hosted by Chang Liang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Particle Board Professional Committee of the China National Forest Products Industry Association.
The second forum invitedZhang Jian, Chairman of Suzhou Badesheng Smart Home; Xie Hongwei, Chairman of Sichuan Yilian Home Furnishing; Zhu Yijin, Senior General Manager of Suofeiya Home Furnishing; Wang Zhihui, Chairman of Guangdong Yueshan New Material Technology; Hu Xianjin, General Manager of Red Apple Home Furnishing; and Zhao Xueshu, General Manager of Shangqiu Dingfeng Wood Industry to express their own views on the deep integration development of particle boards and customized home furnishing, hosted by Lu Bin, Deputy Director of the Wood Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry.
On the 25th,conference representatives concentrated on visiting the particle board production line of Hubei Ningfeng New Material Technology Co., Ltd., the Industry 4.0 factory of Suofeiya Home Furnishing Hubei Co., Ltd., and the production line of Hubei Huafuli Decoration Materials Co., Ltd.
