Under the guidance of the Party Branch of the Guangdong Custom Home Association, the "Custom +" — 2025 Industry Ecological Trend Development Conference and the Annual Meeting of the Guangdong Custom Home Association & Guangdong Wardrobe Industry Association was grandly launched at the Shangri-La Hotel on March 30! This conference brought together industry elites, focusing on topics such as light high-end customization, whole-home solutions, design, and new materials in the custom home sector. Through diversified "Custom +" strategies and practical cases, it explored industrial ecological reshaping and development trends. Market-oriented product innovation and business model transformation aim to drive enterprises toward the light high-end customization field, deeply integrate smart technology, break through price competition difficulties, and lead the industry toward higher-level development.
Under the guidance of the Party Branch, this grand event closely adhered to the theme of "Custom +," incorporating topics such as AI intelligence and light high-end customization. Guided by Party building, integrating innovation and practice, it was dedicated to exploring how to reshape and develop the industrial ecosystem, how to promote the transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises into the light high-end customization field, exploring multi-channel development for the industry, and injecting red momentum into industrial development.
Before the meeting, Party Branch Secretary Zeng Xiangwei also emphasized repeatedly: "As the latest achievement in deeply exploring the laws of industry development, we hope the 'Custom +' theme can provide enterprises with a clear direction for transformation and upgrading. The conference kicked off with speeches by the President of Guangdong Custom Home Association, General Manager of Shangpin ZhaipeiLi Jiacong, and the President of Guangdong Wardrobe Industry Association, Chairman of Baidesheng HomeZhang Jian. The two presidents expressed the original intention of the conference and their expectations for the future. They also hoped to work with all member enterprises to create a vibrant, harmonious, and inclusive organic ecosystem for the custom home industry, jointly composing a prosperous and flourishing future for the sector!
The title sponsor of this conference, Luli Wood Industry, its Marketing DirectorZhang Jianqiang, also expressed gratitude to the association for establishing a platform for exchanging ideas, sharing resources, and promoting cooperation. He also looked forward to collaborating with enterprises across the industry to create a new future.
During the forum session, five industry heavyweights including Mr. Zhang Jian, President of Guangdong Wardrobe Industry Association and Chairman of Baidesheng Home; Mr. Chen Jianbo, Executive President of Golden Home; Mr. Chen Haoran, Founder of OOD Lifestyle Customization; Ms. Zhou Zhengrong, Chairman of Dacheng Century and Founder of LUFENCI; and Mr. Xu Tianzeng, Assistant to Chairman of Spring Group and General Manager of Door-Wall-Cabinet Customization Division, engaged in an in-depth discussion on 'Light High-End Customization', sharing their profound insights and practical experience. Guided by moderator Principal Wu, the forum was brilliant and provided much inspiration for the audience.
The conference also featured three highly anticipated important sessions.
First, the 'Light High-End Customization Group Standard for the Custom Home Industry' will be officially launched. The introduction of this standard aims to build a standardized and normalized development framework for the light high-end customization segment of the custom home industry, effectively driving the industry towards a more orderly and higher-quality direction. Second, the Guangdong Custom Home Association / Guangdong Wardrobe Industry Association will form a deep industry-academia-research collaboration with the National Secrecy College of Wuhan University / Wuhan Institute of Data Intelligence. The two sides will integrate their respective advantages in industry practice and academic research. Through deep integration of industry, academia, and research, they will provide cutting-edge theoretical support and practical guidance for the custom home industry in multiple dimensions such as technological innovation, data security, and intelligent development, helping the industry achieve a qualitative leap. Third, the establishment and licensing ceremony of the Renovation Committee was also held during the conference. The committee will focus on the home renovation business, dedicated to integrating industry resources, standardizing renovation processes, and improving the quality of renovation services. It aims to play a key leading role in meeting consumers' growing needs for home renovation, opening a new chapter for the custom home industry in the field of renovation. (Figure 3)
The highly anticipated industry benchmark award, 'Golden Standard Award', was also solemnly presented during the conference. A super judging panel was formed, composed of the most authoritative and professional 'industry authorities, academic experts, home company founders, executives, manufacturing experts, renowned designers, and senior industry media professionals' from various fields of the custom home industry, to serve as judges for the Golden Standard Award. They built a professional evaluation system for the award, assessed products face-to-face to identify new customization benchmarks. The final evaluation, conducted through presentations by participating companies and on-site scoring by expert judges, selected the final winners from 45 outstanding shortlisted products.
In a warm atmosphere, the toast segment brought the dinner to a climax. Leaders and guests raised their glasses together, cheering in unison for the unceasing and vigorous innovative vitality of the customized home furnishing industry, and celebrating the deep friendship and collaborative spirit built along the journey.
