We will comprehensively strengthen party discipline, educate and guide party members and cadres to learn, understand, and abide by discipline, build a strong ideological and moral defense line, and enhance the ability to resist corruption and prevent degeneration.
On October 15, the Party Branch of the Guangdong Custom Home Furnishing Association held a special party class on party discipline education themed 'Abide by Discipline, Observe Rules.' Through this special party class education activity, the ideological defense line of party members and cadres against corruption was further strengthened, and their ideological understanding of party conduct and clean government was enhanced. Party members Zeng Xiangwei and Zhang Juntao attended the meeting on-site, while active members Yang Jinsheng, Luo Lei, Cai Zeqiong attended on-site, and Mo Jingxin and Li Xianhui participated online.
At the beginning of the meeting, branch secretary Zeng Xiangwei presented the party class 'Abide by Discipline, Observe Rules' — the basic connotation of the six disciplines. Then, from the three perspectives of organization, work, and individual, he comprehensively and profoundly explained the significance of 'abiding by discipline and observing rules.' Starting from the realities of work and life, he clarified the behavioral requirements for party members and cadres on how to 'abide by discipline and observe rules.'
Participants all joined the discussion and expressed that whether party members or active members, they must understand laws and discipline, understand rules, know what to revere, and be cautious. They must always be loyal to the Party and the people, remember the original aspiration and mission, and conscientiously fulfill their duties. They should study hard, keep in mind their original intentions, do good deeds for the people and society, work well for their units, and shoulder responsibilities for their families. They should hold themselves to higher standards, maintain their original aspirations from beginning to end, and strictly and practically abide by discipline and observe rules.
Party branch secretary Zeng Xiangwei stated that as the association's party branch, we should complete our support for the industry under the Party's guidance, promote the industry's development, abide by industry regulations, observe discipline, and guide member enterprises towards healthy competition and sustainable development. As a party member, we should enhance the consciousness and firmness of being political, abiding by discipline, and observing rules. We must foster a sense of self-discipline, internalize the observance of discipline and rules into a lifestyle and behavioral norm, and continuously temper a political character of loyalty, integrity, and responsibility. We should strictly demand ourselves, truly internalize being political, abiding by discipline, and observing rules in the heart and externalize them in actions, making them a behavioral consciousness.
The successful convening of this special party class will further strengthen the ideological defense line of party members and cadres against corruption, enhance their ideological understanding of party conduct and clean government, and deepen the code of conduct that internalizes discipline requirements in the heart and externalizes them in actions.
