January 19The Party branch of the Guangdong Custom Home Furnishing Association held its first tenth Party member conference and the themed Party Day event 'Studying Civil Affairs, Undertaking Social Responsibility'. Secretary Zhang Juntao, Party members Zeng Xiangwei, Mo Jingxin, Li Xianhui, activists Luo Lei, Yang Jinsheng, Huang Siyuan, and Cai Zeqiong attended the meeting, totaling eight participants.
At the beginning of the meeting, Secretary Zhang Juntao introduced the personal background of comrade Zeng Xiangwei, a candidate for Secretary. He mentioned that during the assessment of this comrade, relevant Party members and the masses were consulted, and all affirmed his moral character and work performance. Based on the evaluation and following discussion by the Party branch, it was decided to recommend comrade Zeng Xiangwei as the preliminary candidate for the second-term Party branch Secretary. The attending Party members,under the premise of strictly following the Party branch reelection procedures and completing the preparatory work for the election with high quality,conducted a secret ballot for the candidate and unanimously approved the decision for the new-term Party branch Secretary candidate.
Secretary Zhang Juntao continued to carry out the themed Party Day activity with everyone,thoroughly studying and applying 'In-depth Study of Xi Jinping's Important Discourses on Civil Affairs',and comprehensively implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Secretary Zhang Juntao emphasized the need to integrate the in-depth study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourses on civil affairs, and to conscientiously implement a series of major deployments and requirements by General Secretary Xi Jinping regardingaccelerating the development of new quality productive forces, accelerating scientific and technological innovation, and comprehensively enhancing strategic capabilities in emerging fields,and deeply understand the decisive significance of the 'two establishments', enhance the 'four consciousnesses', strengthen the 'four confidences', and achieve the 'two safeguards', always remaining a firm believer and loyal practitioner of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.
