Wanhua Hexian Group is a collectivized company integrating production, education and research. Its business scope includes the production and sales of formaldehyde-free artificial boards, as well as the technical development and production process improvement of formaldehyde-free ecological boards.The core product "Hexiang Board" is made primarily from annual agricultural and forestry residues as raw materials, bonded with polyurethane adhesive. The product range includes: formaldehyde-free particleboard, formaldehyde-free MDF, coatable LSB, formaldehyde-free plywood, decorative panels, painted panels, 79-foot custom panels, etc. The straw board manufacturing technology has been included in the national key science and technology development plan—the "863" plan, and has won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
Wanhua Hexian Group has invested in and built 14 large-scale continuous production lines in major grain-producing and populous provinces, including Jingmen (Hubei), Gongan (Hubei), Huaiyuan (Anhui), Tongling (Anhui), Lankao (Henan), Xinyang (Henan), Yangxin (Shandong), Linyi (Shandong), Shaoguan (Guangdong), and Chenzhou (Hunan).
