Guangdong Qingzhou Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. joined hands with multiple custom home furnishing brands, upstream and downstream industry enterprises, higher education institutions, domestic and international authoritative testing certification and standardization agencies, etc.,jointly deliberated on the "Technical Requirements for LED Luminaires for Local Lighting of Cabinet Products" (Draft for Comments); this technical requirement will fill the gap in standards within China's cabinet lighting niche field..
In recent years, with market consumption upgrades, home lighting and commercial lighting have shifted from focusing on spatial illumination to pursuing local lighting ambiance. Cabinet lighting emerged accordingly, widely applied in products such as kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, shoe cabinets, wine cabinets, entryway cabinets, bathroom vanities, display cabinets, etc. It has gradually become a new standard for high-end home decoration and high-end commercial displays, putting forward higher requirements for the reliability, stability, convenience, LED color rendering, service life, etc., of cabinet lighting products.
In November 2022,As a national specialized and new "Little Giant" enterprise in the optoelectronic intelligent control niche field — Qingzhou Optoelectronic — united with 14 relevant units to take the lead in initiating an industry-wide proposal, calling on everyone to jointly draft industry standards for cabinet lighting products and point out the direction for the standardized and healthy development of the industry.
After more than half a year, the "General Technical Requirements for LED Luminaires for Local Lighting of Cabinets" (Draft for Comments) was finally released. This draft stipulates detailed provisions and strict requirements for the cabinet lighting product'sluminaires,control devices,charging devices,connectors, etc.all components were subject to detailed provisions and strict requirements, covering safety technical specifications, application technical requirements, product performance, reliability, service life, etc.more than 10 indicators.
At this seminar, experts fromSuofeiya, Jinpai, Mag, TuBaobao, Dongguan Quality Inspection Center, German TUV, American UL, Swiss SGS, UK ITSand experts from 20 units in total, who jointly conducted a detailed review and discussion on this draft opinion.
Representatives at the meeting unanimously believed that this standard provides fundamental technical support for the R&D, production, and inspection of cabinet lighting products, and offers strict regulatory guidance and safety guarantees for these products entering the market, serving as a strong basis for application selection, will effectively promote the industry to form a benign development ecosystem, lead the healthy and high-quality development of the cabinet lighting sub-industry, and benefit more enterprises and consumers.
