On September 23-25, 2023, the 2023 National Particleboard Industry Development Seminar and Custom Home Furnishing Industry Chain Trend Summit, themed "Upholding Integrity and Innovation, Steady Progress for Long-term Success", was successfully held in Wuhan, Hubei.This conference was jointly organized by the China National Forest Products Industry Association, the Research Institute of Wood Industry, Chinese Academy of Forestry, Guangdong Custom Home Furnishing Association, and Guangdong Wardrobe Industry Association; co-organized by the Wood Composite Materials Laboratory of the Research Institute of Wood Industry, Chinese Academy of Forestry, the Particleboard Professional Committee of the China National Forest Products Industry Association, Guangdong Custom Home Furnishing Association, Guangdong Wardrobe Industry Association, Ningfeng Group Co., Ltd., and Yalian Machinery Co., Ltd.; and co-sponsored by the Particleboard Industry National Innovation Alliance, the National Wood and Bamboo Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, and the National Engineering Research Center for Low-Carbon High-Efficiency Utilization of Forest Biomass.
This meeting mainly includedOpening Ceremony, Release of "China Particleboard Industry Research Report (2023)", Invited Reports, Expert Interviews, Thematic Reports, Guest Interviews, and Site Visitsseven parts.
The opening ceremony of the conference kicked off under the hostmanship of Qian Xiaoyu, Executive Vice President of the China National Forest Products Industry Association. Leaders from the Guangdong Custom Home Furnishing Association and Wardrobe Association, the China National Forest Products Industry Association, the Science and Technology Department of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, and the China Rural Technology Development Center delivered speeches respectively.
Zhou Hongsheng, former Director of the Fire Prevention Department of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, presided over the release of "China Particleboard Industry Research Report (2023)". Guo Wenjing, Secretary-General of the Particleboard Professional Committee of the China National Forest Products Industry Association, provided a detailed interpretation of the report. During the meeting, experts and leaders presented participation certificates to the units involved in compiling the report.
In the morning invited report session,Chu Fuxiang, President of the Chinese Academy of Forestry; Lv Bin, Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Wood Industry, Chinese Academy of Forestry; Zhang Ting, Chief Engineer of Suofeiya Home Furnishing Co., Ltd.; and Li Xinguo, President of Ningfeng Group Co., Ltd. delivered reports respectively.
The conference invitedDong Wen, Researcher at the China Rural Technology Development Center; Xiao Xiaobing from the National Forestry and Grassland Administration Industry Development Planning Institute; Wu Xiaosong, Chief Expert of the China National Forest Products Industry Association; Yu Leifei, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Particleboard Professional Committee of the China National Forest Products Industry Association; and Li Lianping, Chairman of Ningfeng Group Co., Ltd. participated in expert interviews, hosted by Zhang Zhongtao, Director of the Ecological Industry Planning Division I of the National Forestry and Grassland Administration Industry Development Planning Institute.
The afternoon thematic report session was hosted byTang Zhaoqun, Director of the Information Center of the Research Institute of Wood Industry, Chinese Academy of Forestry, served as host. Speakers included Liu Zhitong, Design Engineer at Yalian Machinery Co., Ltd.; Xu Hongjie, Sales General Manager of Sweden Songzhi Fiber Technology Co., Ltd. China Region; Fu Qiuxia, Chairman of Guangdong Hanqiu Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.; Cheng Hanwen, General Manager of Product Technology Center at Guangzhou Yongtenai Wood Glue Trading Co., Ltd.; Guo Dongsheng, General Manager of Italy Imapal Group China Region; Wang Daqing, Director of Changzhou Kolin Environmental Technology Co., Ltd.; and Liu Bo, Head of IEP Dust Explosion Protection Product Department at Holberg (China) Co., Ltd.They respectively shared insights on technological innovation, application practices, development trends, etc., in their respective fields, combining them with the characteristics of the particleboard industry.
Two entrepreneur forums were organized during this meeting,The first forum invited Liu Nian, Chairman of Fenglin Group; Liu Shouhua, Chief Representative of Diefenbach Beijing Office, Germany; Ye Shijun, General Manager of Furen Sen Gong; Yuan Gongzhi, General Manager of Hubei Baoyuan Wood Industry; Shen Wenyong, Chief Engineer of Sufuma Machinery; and Li Chunyu, Deputy General Manager of Tang County Huiyin Wood Industry to share insightful views on particleboard equipment and product innovation, hosted by Chang Liang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Particleboard Professional Committee of the China National Forest Products Industry Association.
The second forum invitedZhang Jian, Chairman of Suzhou Badesheng Smart Home; Xie Hongwei, Chairman of Sichuan Yilian Home Furnishing; Zhu Yijin, Senior General Manager of Suofeiya Home Furnishing; Wang Zhihui, Chairman of Guangdong Yuexin New Material Technology; Hu Xianjin, General Manager of Red Apple Home Furnishing; and Zhao Xueshu, General Manager of Shangqiu Dingfeng Wood Industry expressed their views on the deep integration development of particleboard and custom home furnishing, hosted by Lv Bin, Deputy Director of the Research Institute of Wood Industry, Chinese Academy of Forestry.
On the 25th,Conference delegates visited the particleboard production line of Hubei Ningfeng New Material Technology Co., Ltd., the Industry 4.0 factory of Suofeiya Home Furnishing Hubei Co., Ltd., and the production line of Hubei Hufuli Decoration Materials Co., Ltd.
